Zoltan Sagi
Cool, sophisticated jazz for all occasions - a perfect accompaniment to your wedding, anniversary or birthday celebration. Ideal for a jazz concert - Zoltan's quartet can be augmented, if required, by a vocalist or what about 'Two Tenors' for that big West Coast sound of the 40's and 50's.
Zoltan has made numerous CD's, and other recordings as a freelance session musician and has also worked with some of the finest jazz musicians in the world such as Earl Warren, Benny Waters, Kenny Davern, Bob Wilber, Humphrey Lyttleton, Roy Williams, Bruce Turner and Marty Grosz. The Jazz Friends The Jazz Friends specialise in lively, always swinging jazz. Within this framework also reside the sounds of Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington and Count Basie making the band ideal for concerts, clubs, dances, festivals, riverboat shuffles or indeed functions where happy, lively music is required. Whilst concentrating on the jazz sounds of the 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's, the Jazz Friends do not resign themselves to re-runs of 'golden oldies' and can combine their traditional repertoire with more contemporary blues material, mainstream or even Dixieland. Below is a small selection of some of the styles the Jazz Friends can lend themselves to.
